Theresa Koltes: "Just like a refrigerator, this blog is regularly being stocked with everything and anything: Book reviews, recipes, philosophical rants, poetry, random anecdotes, articles, writing tips, and sometimes even......cheese cake. I'm a third-culture-kid; born into a rambunctious family who grew up travelling all over the world for humanitarian aid and artistic contributions. The 10 of us are still scattered all over the place, happily doing artsy things like cooking, painting, acting and writing. Whenever we wanted to watch TV, mom would dump a stack of blank paper in front of us and say "Be creative!" Worked every time. I now live and work in Chicago--a beautiful city I'm proud to call home! (For now) ....Oh, and I still don't have a TV :)"
